Resilient families Network Launch
On November 6, 2025, church leaders from across Greater Charlotte gathered to officially launch the Resilient Families Network. The gathering brought together more than 20+ churches who share a heart to strengthen vulnerable families and cultivate resilience across our city through collaboration, discipleship, and practical care. The morning focused on both the realities facing families impacted by the child welfare system and the unique opportunity for the Church to respond with relational and sustainable support.
Each of our Network leaders shared their personal and ministry history of serving vulnerable children and families while casting vision for what this Network could become. Together, they invited churches into a shared movement focused on family preservation, foster care support, and long-term care for families in crisis. Their stories and leadership helped set the tone for a collaborative, church-led approach to strengthening families across Greater Charlotte.
During the gathering, we introduced the Resilient Families Church assessment, designed to help churches reflect on their current engagement and discern next steps. The feedback from church leaders was overwhelmingly encouraging and is already helping shape future gatherings, training opportunities, and resource development. We are grateful for the leaders who joined us for this launch and are excited to continue building momentum together as we equip churches and strengthen families across our community.
